Sinister Cinema

Johnson went to England to film this story of a military doctor who's falsely accused of illegal drug dealing. He's soon on the run from the MPs who are out to throw him in jail. Help soon comes when he falls in with a nightclub singer, to whom his wife has sublet his flat. Is his wife loyal and faithful, or is there something sinister afoot? From 35mm.

The setting is Manila, where pretty young girls are kidnapped off the streets. They are thrown into a cave deep in the wilds of the Philippines where they await their terrible fate: a death cult needs their blood so its members can retain their eternal youth! This is a real '70s drive-in schlockfest. Look for the disembodied head living in a glass box! Great color, 35mm.

Mills (young Bill) enlists in the British Army to help his country against the Nazi threat. Not to be undone by his offspring, Graham (Old Bill) decides to do his part and sign up, too. There's a bit of trouble getting the upper echelons of the military to accept such an old recruit (who already served in WWI), but he's soon serving alongside his son in the war effort. No classic, but it's one of those "feel good" kind of movies that were so popular during WWII.
