Synopsis
Two Oscar nominations went to this dramatic story of a young man out to avenge his father's wrongful execution. Burgess Meredith and John Carradine star in this compelling drama from director Alfred Santell, while the cinematography was by two time Oscar nominee J. Peverell Marley (Life With Father, Suez). This feature was also nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Venice Film Festival of 1937, nearly winning the coveted Mussolini Cup.
