Synopsis
In West of the Divide Wayne gains the confidence of the villain Gentry (Lloyd Whitlock) by assuming the identity of a wanted outlaw and joining his gang. After saving an elderly ranch owner (Lafe McKee) from the attentions of the badmen, he is able to confront Gentry as the murderer of his father. Repeating his grim memories of that childhood incident, he concludes ominously, '...but I lived, lived to even up the score!' And he does just that in an elaborate indoor fight, himself visibly performing a backward somersault, the fracas ending with Gentry being knocked right through a large paned window. Though strong in action, our hero is hesitant in love, and it takes his kid brother (Billy O'Brien) to propose for him to the rancher's daughter (Virginia Brown Faire).
