Clint Mason is paroled after serving three years in prison for a stagecoach robbery he did not commit. He returns home determined to prove his innocence, but finds the town in the grip of crime boss Anse McCloud. McCloud has coerced Clint's sweetheart, Nancy Campbell, into agreeing to marry Anse in one month. The ex-con must expose McCloud's criminal activities, if he is to have any chance of rescuing Nancy and clearing his name.
