Synopsis
The Kid Stays in the Picture is a fascinating documentary following the rise, fall and rise again of legendary Hollywood producer Robert Evans. Discovered poolside at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Evans became the first actor to ever run a motion picture studio. During his tenure, he was responsible for some of the greatest movies ever made - Chinatown, The Godfather and Rosemary's Baby - and defined the Hollywood high life, until he succumbed to cocaine addiction and scandal. Sparing no one, least of all himself, Evans narrates his Hollywood journey and eventual triumph with no holds barred candor in this critically acclaimed documentary.
