Synopsis
An ambitious car mechanic (Mickey Rooney), determined to follow in his father's footsteps, battles his way up the circuit to become an auto racing champion. But a fatal mistake on the track threatens to change everything for the cocky young driver, who's set his sights on the Indianapolis 500. The exciting story unfolds against a backdrop of adrenalin-fueled racing action, and co-stars Thomas Mitchell and Hattie McDaniel.
