Synopsis

Fearing for his girlfriend's safety after receiving an unsettling message from a remote Himalayan hill station, Jamie travels to her last known location in India. After following cryptic clues to an Ashram deep in the mountains, he's surprised to find a utopian atmosphere full of people from around the world. Devotees have come to receive the blessings of a mystical guru, attesting to his healing powers and ability to reincarnate over the centuries. Jamie also observes some strange phenomenon: one morning the mountain is on the left bank of the river, the next day it is on the right. One day the river is going downstream, the next day it's going upstream. The Guru performs displays of power that can't be explained. As the search for his missing lover grows increasingly desperate, he discovers that the Guru's mystical powers may have had something to do with Sophie's disappearance.
