Synopsis
Father Don Mario has pledged obedience and celibacy. Alas, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Especially when lovely Valeria Billi sets her dark brown eyes and romantic designs on him. Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni show why they are among the screen's most celebrated duos in this film that's part romantic comedy, part exploration of human and clerical frailties and 100% shiny star vehicle produced by Loren's filmmaker husband Carlo Ponti.
