Synopsis
A young woman is tricked out of her candy store by a crooked real estate tycoon; when he's found dead, she's the prime suspect. This is the one and only picture directed by Jack Kemp, but he gets the best from a fine cast, including Hilda Offley (Keep Punching, Sepia Cinderella) Sheila Guyse (Harlem Follies of 1949) and Kenneth Freeman (The Notorious Elinor Lee). Songs include 'Chocolate Candy Blues' sung by Juanita Hall, and 'Patience and Fortitude', sung by Norma Shepherd.
