Synopsis
Hollywood legends Cary Grant and Sylvia Sidney star in Madame Butterfly, a riveting melodramatic story about frivolous love abroad. While visiting Japan, Lieutenant Pinkerton (Grant) lusts after and marries a geisha (Sydney) named Cho-Cho San after discovering how easy it is to get divorced. After he happily sails back home, his new wife longingly waits for his return. Despite leaving her dishonored and ignoring endless messages, Pinkerton musters up the courage to return to Japan to confront his wife after three long years.
