Synopsis
From 1953 to1969, Don Glut (best known for his novelization of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and now a professional screen writer/director) made 41 amateur films, most of them in the horror and science fiction genres. Shot on 16mm film, thanks to coverage in magazines like FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, these movies became famous world-wide. The I WAS A TEENAGE MOVIE MAKER feature-lengh documentary includes interviews with Forrest J Ackerman, Bob Burns, Randal Kleiser, Jim Harmon, Bilkl Warren, Scott Shaw!, Paul Davids and others.
