Synopsis

Boxer Jimmy Milligan, a.k.a. the Cyclone Kid, not only finds himself in the ring with his best buddy, Lefty Doyle, but delivers him a fatal blow to the chest. Devastated, Jimmy swears off fighting forever and sets out to deliver Lefty's personal things to Kitty Doyle, Lefty's sister. When Jimmy and Kitty meet, sparks fly so fast that the couple is engaged before Kitty discovers that her paramour is responsible for her brother's death!

Lloyd Hughes starred in classic silents such as Tess of the Storm Country (1922) and Ella Cinders (1926). He enjoyed considerable success during the talkie era, most notably alongside John Barrymore in Lloyd Bacon's Moby Dick (1930). Marion Shilling was an enchanting and graceful film actress best known for her leading roles in B-westerns of the 1930s, including The Red Rider (1934) with Buck Jones and The Idaho Kid (1936) with Rex Bell. "Breezy" Eason directed scores of B-movie action films, most notably the serials The Phantom Empire (1935) and Undersea Kingdom (1936).
