Synopsis
Gulliver's Travels is based on Jonathan Swift's classic story about Lemuel Gulliver, a sailor shipwrecked in Lilliput, the land of tiny people. The Fleischer studio produced the film in 1939. Hundreds of artists worked on the production, which was considered to be a landmark in the art of animation; being only the second full-length color animated feature ever produced. This engaging family film features the singing talents of Jessica Dragonette (Princess Glory) and Lanny Ross (Prince David) in a tale of 18th century romance and adventure in which Gulliver helps to prevent war between the Kingdoms of Lilliput and Blefuscu. Fine family entertainment that has stood the test of time.
