Synopsis
She makes a grand musical entrance on stage atop a silver salver, carried by three virile attendants. For the next two hours of her live concert, outrageous superstar Bette Midler sings ... struts ... weeps ... laughs ... minces ... and woos the audience. She plays with her pals, the Harlettes ... throws out one-liners like bridal bouquets ... refuses to tell tacky Sophie Tucker stories, then tells them ... becomes Delores DeLago the Toast of Chicago, America's most willing--if tasteless--lounge entertainer ... bares her soul in mid-song ... and shares with absolutely everyone her absolutely Divine Madness.
