Synopsis
When his royal relatives are assassinated, 5-year-old Maharaja Sir Duleep Singa becomes King of the Punjab Sikhs, with his mother as regent. Bent on conquest, the British invade India, exile Duleep's mother, and depose Duleep to England where he is befriended by Queen Victoria. After many years, Duleep's mother is allowed to visit her son, ultimately changing the course of his life forever.
