Synopsis
In Which We Serve is one of the most memorable films about World War II. A classic of British cinema, that tells the story of the crew of HMS Torrin, from her construction to sinking during the Battle of Crete. Noel Coward received a special Oscar for his 'outstanding production achievement', having scripted, scored, starred and co-directed with David Lean. The film is unusual for a wartime production as it explores human relationships in the context of the harsh reality of war.
