Synopsis
Manda, a 30-year-old mental health therapist, has left behind her life and family in North Carolina to enjoy a new life with her teenage children in Atlanta, Georgia. At the peak of her career, Manda struggles with workplace anxiety and the return of her childhood autoimmune disease, Crohn's. Manda accepts the recommendation from her doctor to engage in therapy and join "The Wounded Healers Group," a support group specifically for professional counselors. Manda returns to her hometown in North Carolina after realizing she must confront her past and her family to find the healing she needs to thrive.
