Fighting To Live (1934): Abandoned in the desert, courageous German Shepherd Captain manages to make his way back to town, where the starving dog raids chicken coops to survive. He also saves young lawyer John Blake from drowning. A group of irate farmers capture the canine chicken thief intent on destroying him.
