Sherlock Holmes gets the call when several young women turn up dead in London. The only common clue is that each corpse is missing a finger. Holmes suspects a diabolical plot hatched by his arch enemy Moriarty, but the trail leads him to a society of hypnotists, and a mysterious woman. Is she a temptress of pleasure or mistress of murder?
