But Peter proves he is no fool when he helps a young lady named Jane (Joan Crawford), a Federal Agent out to corner a bootlegger. WHY BE GOOD? stars Colleen Moore as vivacious Pert Kelly, a flapper who falls for her employer's son (Neil Hamilton). Pert's reputation as a "jazz baby" creates complications, but with the expected happy ending as Pert's virtue is put to the test.
