Synopsis
Robert Louis Stevensons classic tale Treasure Island continues in this exciting adventure that takes place many years later. Jim Hawkins has become a successful merchant trader with ships sailing from the New World - America. The years have also treated his old adversary, the opportunistic old pirate Long John Silver, well. He has become a rich, respectable widower. But, now the British Crown is confiscating all ships sailing out of Boston. When Hawkins fleet is ravaged, the HMS Sea Wolf and its captain, Joseph Savage, pursues the Eagle, Hawkins last ship. Hawkins flees to a beautiful tropical island, where he rescues the lovely Coral. He soon learns that Coral is not only the romantic interest of Savage, but also the daughter of his old adversary, Long John Silver. When Savage learns that Hawkins is on the island, Jim spirits Coral and Long John Silver away to take a place of refuge he knows like no other: Treasure Island. Captain Savage gives chase, and a game of cat and mouse ensues. Long John, as of old, plays both sides against the middle, and waits to see who will win...
