Synopsis
Come aboard for a river tour of Chicago's famed riverfront architecture. Join host Geoffrey Baer as he reveals the dramatic changes that have taken place along the banks of the Chicago River since the original television tour in 1995. Covering more that twice the distance of the earlier program, Geoffrey travels from the farthest reached of the industrial South Branch through the downtown skyscraper canyons, and up the scenic forks of the North Branch to the river's surprising origin. Along the way you'll see the dramatic new river-edge residential architecture including the Donald Trump condo/hotel tower, and see how the city is opening up the banks of the river with river-walks, parks, canoe launches for strolling, boating, and fishing.
