Synopsis
The State of Maine is more than 35,000 square miles in size, much of it a paradise of pristine, untouched natural beauty with countless islands, mountains, rivers and lakes. It is a place where even the human footprint on the land can be attractive, with picturesque small towns and villages dotting the landscape.
