Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, playing themselves, were regarded as two of the most important swing and jazz musicians and bandleaders of all time. The film also features appearances by Charlie Barnet, Art Tatum, and Bob Eberly jazz up the musical numbers, including songs such as "Green Eyes," "Everybody's Doin' It," "Marie," and "I'll Never Say Never Again."
